My name is Brett Ward and I am a South African working in Saudi Arabia. I am recently divorced, so I always stay at House Rossini when I am in South Africa for a month’s annual leave. I have stayed annually in House Rossini since 2016, for the last 4 years.
I have always stayed in the one-bedroom apartment and found it to be very comfortably sized. It’s open plan, with a separate living room, kitchen and bathroom.
The kitchen is very well resourced, with a good gas stove and oven, as well as a large fridge and freezer and washing machine and drier. It has all the cutlery and crockery you could want. The bathroom has a good bath and shower and lots of hot water, as well as good towels.
The King Size bed is very comfortable. There is also a very pleasant outside courtyard with a fountain, as well as a single-car garage. The location is extremely quiet, with absolute privacy. The apartment is very close to Brooklyn Mall, one of the best in Pretoria, as well as other shops and malls.
The apartment is well maintained.
Cleaning is done daily from Monday to Friday and is of a very high standard. Checking in and out was very quick and informal, and consisted of nothing more than handing over keys.
I would thoroughly recommend House Rossini as a very high-quality, homelike environment.

We had a lovely stay in House Rossini. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home.
The Apartment is very convenient like a real house , fully equipped with cleaning services. All been supplied. We had high security and were very pleased about that.
The owners even supply us with additional info , offer to make medical appointments , drove us to the nearest mall , to enable us to start getting around. From time to time the owner surprised us by fresh bakery left on the table. The Apartment lift up to our expectations : very quiet , and close to all embassy’s , a hospital ; shopping mall , nice restaurants and gym.

We had a lovely 3 months stay at House Rossini Self Catering Apartment. The 2 Bedroom Apartment was like a house , very comfortable and spacious. The main bedroom has two lovely sunny balconies and more than enough cupboards. The second bedroom also fits our son very well. The Office room came in very handy during our stay to maintain our business In Namibia. Service were excellent and all our needs were met. The owner went out of his way to assist us in our problems with our car.

We had a lovely stay at House Rossini. The web site really lived up to our expectations.
We stayed for 6 months in this lovely 2 bedroom Apartment . Our need for privacy were met very well : We have our private entrance , 2 private garages and little private garden. The Apartment lives like a complete house , were very spacious and the study / office with en suite bathroom comes in very efficient in our embassy related business. As well as the pantry in the kitchen for groceries storage and additional guest toilet.
We also have daily cleaning services. All linen and towels were changed 2x p/week and our bedroom was very sunny and airy. The air con came quite handy during June and July. Waterkloof shopping Mall was walking distance away as well as a few restaurants around. The Brooklyn Mall shopping center is only 2 km away.

House Rossini gastehuis is voorwaar ‘n juweel gelee in Waterkloof, Pretoria.
Die ligging is baie sentraal vir maklike en vinnige toegang na Winkelsentrums, Universiteite, Hospitale en snelwee.
Ons het van Januarie 2014 tot Maart 2015 in House Rossini Self Catering Apartment gebly en kan regtig net met lof praat van die pragtig gemeubuleerde, goed versorgde en ruim gastehuis.
Ons was heeltemal selfversorgend met 3 en-suite kamers, met meer as voldoende ingeboude kaste en beddens.
Daar is baie moeite gedoen om ekstra lessenare te voorsien vir my kinders wat studeer.
Die goed toegeruste kombuis (met wasmasjien en tuimeldroeer) het aan al ons behoeftes voldoen.
Die sit- en eetkamer was goed ingerig met mooi meubels geskik vir formele of informele geleenthede.
‘n Klein, maar pragtige privaat tuin met braai area is net reg vir buite ontspan.
DIe 2 elektroniese beheerde motorhuise vir die motors was ‘n absolute bonus, beide my 2 kinders het ook addisionele parkeergarages gehad.
Onderdak toesluit motorhuise vir die motors was ‘n absolute bonus!
Ons het deurgaans baie veilig gevoel met privaat alarmstelsel en ander sekuriteitsmaatreels.
Die “huis” was altyd skoon en netjies met daaglikse skoonmaakdiens.
Nielu, Isak en die ander personeel was altyd vriendelik en behulpsaam en het ons altyd op die hande gedra.
Ek kan House Rossini voorwaar aanbeveel vir enige iemand wat ‘n tydelike tuiste in Pta soek.
Absoluut fantasties!!

Por motivos laborales, en noviembre de 2011 tuve que viajar a Pretoria (Sudáfrica) con mi marido y mi hijo de año y medio. Necesitaba un hogar provisional para vivir los dos primeros meses hasta que llegase mi mudanza desde España, y tuve la suerte de encontrar alojamiento en “Rossini Guest House”.
Lo primero que debo agradecer es el cálido recibimiento de sus propietarios, Isak y Nielu, y la buena primera impresión que da ver la casa: instalación de seguridad completa que da una gran tranquilidad, amplio garaje para dos coches, cuidado y bonito jardín y una entrada preciosa a la casa. Dentro, encuentras una agradable vivienda de dos pisos, amueblada con gusto, con todo nuevo y en perfecto uso; un amplísimo salón y cocina bien equipada, dos dormitorios y un estudio, aire acondicionado y todas las comodidades que puedes necesitar: televisión por cable, conexión a Internet, etc. Además, hay que destacar que hay servicio de limpieza diario y opcional si deseas plancha, el barrio es estupendo, muy seguro y cerca de varias embajadas.
En resumen, pasamos una estancia muy agradable, a lo que contribuyeron los propietarios, que son unos anfitriones atentos y muy simpáticos, que tienen numerosas sugerencias sobre dónde ir o qué hacer.
Estos párrafos sobre nuestra estancia no están, ni mucho menos, completos pero espero que os sean de utilidad para decidiros por “Rossini Guest House”.

“For working reasons, I had to move to Pretoria (South Africa) at the beginning of November 2011, with my husband and my one-year-old son. We needed a provisional place to feel like at home during a couple of months, until our move arrives from Spain. We were lucky because we found “Rossini Guest House”.
The first thing you experience in your arrival is the warm welcome of the owners, Isak and Nielu, Then, you get the first great sight of the house: a complete security installation which calm you down, a wide garage for two cars, a beautiful and tidy garden and a nice porch to enter the house. Inside, you may find a pleasant two-floor-house, tastefully furnished, with everything new; a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a study, air condition in all the rooms and all the facilities you may need: internet, DSTV, etc. Besides that, it has to be underlined that there is a daily cleaning service (optional ironing), the neighbourhood is great, very safe and near some embassies.
Summing up, we spent a very nice stay, which was possible thanks to the owners, perfect hosts who are pleasant and kind, and will give you ideas about where to go or what to do.
This review would not be complete but we trust it will ease your way through and decide to stay in House Rossini”.
